There was a contest on IMDb where you were supposed to write about what Keanu Reeves means to you. Only three hundred and fifty words. I didn't get to say half of what I wanted but at least I tried. See entry below.
Keanu Reeves. It used to amaze me when I heard something negative said about him. Now I realize they just don't know him. If we 're judged by our peers then this man is a wonderful person. No one who has ever worked with or known him personally has ever had a bad thing to say about him. Quite the opposite, he's described in glowing terms, by everyone of them. Check out his fan site Club Keanu and you will find his fan base ranges from ten to sixty. They are from everywhere and they have one thing in common. They all love Keanu Reeves. When I listen to Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band's Live Bullet CD I can see him. Wild ,free and going down his own road.
Ted wasn't my first Keanu experience . It was River's Edge. Even then he was different. Special. Some say "Ted'' like it's a bad thing. I love that movie. I dare you to watch it and not feel good afterwards. ican't wait to see him smile and laugh again as Ted , he's got a really great laugh. Bill & Ted 3. Excellent!!
He'll play bass again. I miss Dogstar. I got to see them twice and listen to their music today. Now if Robert, Bret and Keanu could do just one more CD please. Bret's still creating , think about it guys.
I read some idiot told Keanu he was surprisingly sexy in Pippa. He has an innate sensualality that he tries to keep under wraps but it's always there. ''Whatever happened to that crazy boy, with the love light in his eyes?'' He's put up walls , who can blame him? The thing about Keanu is he's cool. He's the only one who doesn't know it. That's why he's the quintessential cool. Now this guy cleans up good. No one looks better in a tux but I love the beard ,long hair ,jeans and boots with the toes scuffed from riding his Norton.That's my Keanu. When I'm looking California but Feeling Minnesota I put in a Keanu Reeves movie and go back to a time when life was good and love was easy. Whoa.
Can you believe this took me two hours? The word constraint made it difficult to say the least. Gave it a shot.
