Of course if your like all the other fine upstanding citizens of this country and since it's the southern states getting hit well that's really not so bad right ? After all they are just a bunch of hillbillies. We all know hillbillies are known for incest, ignorance , banjo playing and outdoor plumbin right ? How self righteous all the comment makers on the internet are.
You know you can't say nigger, spic, mic or kike anymore. Oh no those are derogatory terms and they demean a race by using them . The PC police will make sure that if those terms are used you should feel bad about it. There is really only one minority that isn't protected. Southerners. They are fair game , say what you want , who cares about a bunch of hillbillies.
Actually they are people just like you. They just sound different and if they talk a little slower make no mistake they are not slow in their thinking as many a smart, college educated Northerner has learned a little too late.
I think it's why I like Canadians so much. They too get the short end . I think it's because all these other so called superior types are simply jealous of our manners.
It seems no matter how rude you are to a Southerner or a Canadian they will simply smile and continue being gracious. You will not bring them to your level. They were raised better.
I am not speaking of rednecks , they are in every society. Charlie Sheen is the biggest piece of filth from the gutter ever and as far as I know he is not Southern so they don't corner the market on it.
Ah well, say what you will about us , we too have a saying, it comes from Nascar, yes Nascar which by the way is dominated by drivers from the West coast.
Anyway " Say what you want , we can't hear you."
