Room with a view

The sun came out for an hour this morning. I was finally able to take some pictures of the magnolias in the light. We are supposed to get the tail end of a tornado today so it will more than likely debloom my trees. I have a princess magnolia that grows outside my bathroom window on the first floor and my loft on the second. It's a beautiful view when the magnolias are in bloom.

  Today I'm going to go to the loft and read a book. If I can't concentrate I might put on some music , Norah Jones would suit the bill and dust my bookshelves. I like to take the books off once a year and give them a dusting. I never fail to find an old friend I haven't visited with in awhile. I'll also collect the ones I'm going to read this summer while I'm laying out.
 I promised I would go to the basement if the tornado sirens go off.  Five people were killed in Arkasas .  Being in tornado alley you get used to dealing with them but this is supposed to be a bad one. I prefer to watch the storm, it kinda does it for me. All that energy. 
Maybe I'll just have a cup of tea and look out the window for awhile.
