Anyone who doesn't seems unnatural to me.
I have lots of them mostly because I've had animals my whole life.
My newest little man is making his road map on me.
Look how fast he's growing. A new scar in the making.
You can look at a scar on your skin and remember when it happened but the scars on your soul aren't as easily identified.
The major ones are of course but I believe it's the little nicks and slices over the years that lay open like a paper cut that are the ones that finally do you in. It's the fact that they take forever to heal and that salt can be rubbed into them that makes the small scars the most painful.
They don't heal , they just become a part of you.
Embrace your scars and heal your soul as much as you can.
If you can't be with the one you love , well you know how it goes don't you ?
Probably the only way I'll ever see the PCH except riding with Keanu in Damaged People.
You only get one go around in life. No do overs.
