You know in watching that episode of Designing Women I'm reminded how different cultures are. Northern men don't seem to want to be men. By that I mean they want to be chased and have the woman be the seducer. I don't know if that's because northern women prefer it that way but I'm betting it might just be because they don't know any better.
Scarlet O'Hara is a perfect example of denying nature. She always wanted to be in control and pursue the man feeling like it was a conquest. It wasn't until Rhett swept her up and made her lose control and be conquered that she purred like a kitten.
I'm old fashioned , I want a man to open the door and hold my chair and by all means sweep me off my feet. No woman ever forgets that. Especially when she's drunk. I'm not drunk but I'm on my way to getting there.
